Edgewater Kung Fu Academy is family oriented and offers fitness options appropriate for each member of the family. Some families train together, for example father and son in the same Kung Fu class. Mom might take Chinese kickboxing and grandmom and granddad take Tai Chi together. No matter what your family dynamic might be, we try our hardest to make all families feel welcome and foster a real sense of community.

Q Our Mission/Goal

Our goal is to create a community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about martial arts and committed to personal development. We believe that the practice of martial arts has the power to transform lives and help individuals reach their full potential.

Q Things included in Kids Program

Our kids program includes a wide range of classes to choose from, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. This allows children to progress at their own pace and achieve their personal goals.

Q Benefits of Martial Arts

Martial arts can also promote self-confidence and self-esteem. As students progress and achieve new goals, they gain a sense of accomplishment and pride in their abilities. This can translate into other areas of life, such as school and work, and help individuals feel more confident in their abilities.

Q Things included in Teens/Adults Program

Sparring and Self-Defense: Sparring is an important part of most martial arts programs, as it allows students to practice their techniques in a controlled and safe environment. This portion of the program may also include training in self-defense techniques, such as how to escape holds or defend against an attacker.
