Q Our Mission/Goal

Our mission at our martial arts school is to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for individuals of all ages and skill levels to learn, grow, and develop both physically and mentally. We strive to instill a sense of discipline, respect, and confidence in our students through the teachings and practices of martial arts.

Q About KIDS CLASSES

In our kids program, children will learn a variety of traditional martial arts techniques including punches, kicks, and self-defense moves. Our classes also incorporate physical conditioning exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Q Things included in Teens/Adults Program

Sparring and Self-Defense: Sparring is an important part of most martial arts programs, as it allows students to practice their techniques in a controlled and safe environment. This portion of the program may also include training in self-defense techniques, such as how to escape holds or defend against an attacker.

Q History of Martial Arts

Taekwondo, a Korean martial art, was also introduced to the United States in the mid-20th century. The art was brought over by Hwang Kee, who founded the Moo Duk Kwan school of taekwondo. Taekwondo gained widespread popularity in the United States in the 1970s and 1980s, and is now one of the most popular martial arts in the country.
