“Tae Kwon” means “feet” and “fists”, respectively, which emphasises the training and understanding of the strength within our bodies. “Do” means “right mind”, it is our discipline, humility, cooperation, self-awareness and self-confidence. We learn “Do” automatically by establishing habits and leadership skills through physical training with Masters and fellow students. By working together, we gain knowledge and understanding of ourselves and one another. FAQs

Q JTA's Victory Process

We are often told to do our best and to practice hard. But how do we? Jta Jeong Jaehyun Taekwondo Academy believes in giving students and parents a full description of exactly what is expected during each stage of learning Tae Kwon Do, complete with goals and specific, measurable results.

Master Jeong developed a successful proprietary Tae Kwon Do training process that builds trust and accountability through visual tools that show the Master, student and parents each student’s progress. Each student has a Victory Process Card with their student information and qualification requirements for each belt level. This system of accomplishment shows students their progress in each area of the curriculum for their rank. The Victory Process Card is a visual dashboard of a student’s learning and progress that demonstrates Tae, Kwon and Do growing and progressing together. Students, parents and Masters can easily identify areas they need to improve in, working together to prepare for each exam.

JTA’s Exams take place over multiple days. The first day tests students’ basic skills and forms/poomsae. The second day tests sparring skills. Third day focuses on breaking techniques.
