Our mission is to build confident, respectful, and capable students through high-quality instruction in a welcoming community where every member can grow at their own pace. Sensei Charles C. Alston Jr. is the founder and head instructor of Of the Void Martial Arts. He is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Pagoda Ryu Karate, a certified instructor in Modern Arnis and Panantukan, and serves as the Head Wrestling Coach at South Oldham Middle School. With over two decades of martial arts experience, he is passionate about helping children and adults develop confidence, discipline, practical self-defense skills, and lifelong fitness. His teaching philosophy combines traditional martial arts values with modern coaching methods to create a positive, challenging, and supportive learning environment.

Children can start as young as age 2 in our Hatchlings program, with age-appropriate classes for every stage of growth.
