Our focus is on providing high-quality instruction and a positive learning experience for all of our students. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced martial artist, we have classes and programs tailored to your needs and goals.

Q Benefits of Martial Arts

Martial arts can also serve as a great stress reliever and provide a sense of relaxation and calm. The physical activity and focus on the present moment can help individuals let go of their daily worries and find a sense of peace.

Q Things included in Kids Program

In our kids program, children will learn a variety of traditional martial arts techniques including punches, kicks, and self-defense moves. Our classes also incorporate physical conditioning exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Q Things included in Teens/Adults Program

Philosophy and Ethics: Many martial arts styles have a strong philosophical or ethical component, teaching students principles such as discipline, respect, and self-control. This portion of the program may include discussions or lessons on these concepts, as well as meditation or other mental training exercises.

Q History of Martial Arts

Another martial art that has a long history in the United States is karate, which was introduced to the country by Gichin Funakoshi, a Japanese master who founded the Shotokan school of karate. Karate became popular in the United States in the 1950s and 1960s, thanks in part to the influence of Bruce Lee, who popularized the martial art through his films and teachings.
