Premier Martial Arts of South Charlotte is much more than kicking and punching. We help our students become a better version of themselves. While practicing Martial Arts, we find discipline, grow leadership skills, build character and learn to focus.

At Premier Martial Arts of South Charlotte, we help all our students build confidence, develop discipline and grow their character, all while providing a fun, safe physical activity for all ages.
Our focus is on providing high-quality instruction and a positive learning experience for all of our students. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced martial artist, we have classes and programs tailored to your needs and goals.
In our kids program, children will learn a variety of traditional martial arts techniques including punches, kicks, and self-defense moves. Our classes also incorporate physical conditioning exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination.
Conditioning and Fitness: Many martial arts styles place a strong emphasis on physical fitness and conditioning. This portion of the program may include exercises to improve strength, endurance, flexibility, and overall physical fitness.
Taekwondo, a Korean martial art, was also introduced to the United States in the mid-20th century. The art was brought over by Hwang Kee, who founded the Moo Duk Kwan school of taekwondo. Taekwondo gained widespread popularity in the United States in the 1970s and 1980s, and is now one of the most popular martial arts in the country.
